Welcome to the Eastern Region Independent Living Page!

We are excited to feature resources and events that are taking place near you. As you may or may not be aware, Project LIFE is offering resources and services for youth in foster care between the ages of 14 to 21 and youth adopted after the age of 16. To highlight a few opportunities: Eastern Region Youth Advisory Council, regional youth conferences, and ongoing Independent Living workshops are available. In addition, there are several training opportunities for professionals (LDSS and private providers), such as the Casey Life Skills Assessment, Overview of the Independent Living/ETV Program, and Private Providers Roundtable meetings. If you have questions, or in need of Independent Living services, whether you live in Accomack, Brunswick, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Isle of Wight, Williamsburg, York/Poquoson or any other counties/cities in the region, I am here to answer questions, plan events, trainings and offer support and resources for youth success!

Check out some photos from Project LIFE’s Eastern Region! This month features the Private Providers Roundtable. Private Providers gathered to discuss youth resuming IL Services and NYTD.
