Melissa joined Shineforth in 2005 as a Therapeutic Case Manager.
Throughout her time at Shineforth she has worked in several programs: Adoption, ICC (Intensive Case Coordination) and Project Life. Over the years, she has worked closely with Independent Living-aged youth and has enjoyed seeing them develop the necessary skills to become successful young adults. Prior to joining Shineforth, she worked with the MH/ID adult population, at a Youth Residential Treatment Facility, and in Adult Corrections. She is passionate about working with youth and empowering them to be self-advocates.

Ravens of Grace Soared in 2025
The eastern region debuted a new girl group in 2025: Ravens of Grace. Held in partnership with the So Etiquette Society, it exists to gather young women together to learn about various relevant topics.
